Young Athletes Shine on Sports Day
Children in EYFS at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Hartlepool enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day packed with excitement, enthusiasm and achievement.
Throughout the event, the children demonstrated great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship as they took part in a variety of fun activities and races.
A Morning of Exciting Events
The young athletes competed in sprint races, bean bag balance challenges, howler throw events, egg and spoon races and the ever-popular sack race.
There were plenty of smiles, cheers and words of encouragement throughout the morning as every child gave their very best effort and enjoyed taking part.
Parents and Staff Join the Fun
Adding to the excitement, staff and parents took part in a hilarious sack race that proved to be a firm favourite with the children and spectators alike.
The event created a wonderful atmosphere and highlighted the strong sense of community that makes St Joseph’s such a special place.

Sports Day was a wonderful celebration of participation, perseverance and fun, and everyone involved should be incredibly proud of their efforts.
